Can LeBron James be the best player in history when he retires?

LeBron James is known as the future of the NBA. He is a talented kid but it seems like he cant get it done. I am a cavs fan for life but can he give us a championship soon? Can he be the best player ever to play?

you're being rediculous! James will never hold that title...

dude.... .he's not that good.

Can LeBron James be the best player in history when he retires?nba live 2005 ,nba teams

well... he still has a lot of time... but a lot to prove...
No, no way. He will never be as good as MJ, Kobe or like 5-10 other guys who came before him. He will be in the top 50 in about 5-10 year. At least it looks that way!
nope no matter what he could never compare to his airness bud no matter what kevin durant wont either and even though everyone is obssesed with him
I think that Bird, Wilt, Michael,Magic and Bill Russell reputations will stand up against anybody. Another plus is that they actually have(had)personalities!
hecks no!!!!!!!! that guy might b good and all but under stress and pressure, hes just another normal ball player hoo cant come through to save hes team

GO KOBE
Yes he can. Im his no.1 fan and I can see his potential. It will be developed through the time and he can be as great as Mj
dude, he is only what 22 or something like that in age? don't you think its way too early to be thinking he might be the best player in the NBA history when he retires? who knows...I mean he might blow out his knee and cut his career short...I hope that never happens but the point is its way too early to sell...however, he has tremendous upsides to his game, mental toughness and pretty darn good team leader himself...so the potential for growth and ingredients are all there to be one of the best..even as of now, to say he could be "the best" is kind of silly...you put Lebron over Michael Jordan? over Jerry West? but then again, you know, for David Robinson to be voted in as top 50 NBA greatest players...who knows..interesting thought.

ps: by the way, Spurs in five.
yep, next tp steve nash.

go Suns........ go Cavs!!!!
He's almost been set up to fail. The media, or Nike, dubbs him a King despite not even having a trophy, even before ever reaching the finals for that matter.

I wish him well because he is as non-thug as you can get in the NBA, and appears classy. He does have a lot of time to prove himself.
he can't be the best. We have Kobe for being the best.
nobody can know that, but that kids on his way to the hall of fame because he's what? 20 or somthin and hes aready led his team to the nba finals.
Can he be? Of course. Will he be? Who knows, he's only 22!!!! It's totally ridiculous to say he "can't get it done" at his age and with a mediocre team around him. I think what he/the Cavs accomplished this year is incredible, no way they have the talent the Pistons have, yet they beat them. The Spurs are just way better than the Cavs this year.

LeBron will have his day. Will he be the best ever? I doubt it, but will he be in the top ten? My guess is yes.
Of course. He has a lot of time. He is so good and imagine in 8 years how he would play.
I dont think so when he plays he only grabs the other players attention so that someone else would be open and a lot of his shots are luck
hell no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bron bron is a good player, but is predecessors set the mark of great play at what they did, magic wasnt a scorer but he was a great playmaker, jordan wasn't a great passer but he did everything else great, bird was a great shooter but not a great defender. statistically he may be because of his time in the nba, but he will not come close to wilt's 100, or even kobe's 81
